Where kids are welcomed, loved, and pointed to Jesus — every Sunday.
Plan Your First VisitWho We Are
At The Way Church KC, we believe that children are a vital part of the church today — not just the church of tomorrow. WayKids is committed to partnering with parents to plant gospel seeds and nurture lasting faith in the hearts of our youngest disciples.
Every Sunday Morning
From the moment you walk in, your kids are in good hands. Here's what a Sunday looks like in WayKids.
Every Sunday, kids hear the good news of Jesus through age-appropriate Bible teaching that's fun, faithful, and foundational.
We begin our Sunday gathering with family worship. Kids join their families in singing, praying, and hearing Scripture before being joyfully dismissed to their classes.
Your child's safety is our priority. All volunteers are background-checked and trained, and our secure check-in system ensures your peace of mind.
Our curriculum includes creative crafts and games that immerse kids in a joyful learning environment — reinforcing biblical truths in ways they'll remember.
We see parents as the primary disciplers of their children. Our role is to support and encourage you with resources and regular communication.
Age Groups
Every age group gets teaching and activities designed just for them — so your child is always in the right place.
Our nursery is designed to serve both little ones and their moms. We offer a clean, comfortable, and nurturing space for babies and their mothers — with a private area for care and live audio to stay connected to the service.
Bible stories, worship songs, and simple truths — delivered in a hands-on, high-energy environment that little ones love.
Deeper Bible exploration, small group interaction, and growing faith — equipping kids to know who they are in Jesus as they grow.
First Time?
From our friendly greeters to our secure check-in process, we make your first visit smooth and welcoming. A host will help your family get settled and answer any questions you may have.
We'd love to connect with your family before Sunday.
