About the Camp
More Than Just Sports — It's Gospel-Centered Community
The Way Church KC Neighborhood Sports Camp is a free, three-day camp for kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade. We believe the best outreach happens through relationships — and sports is a powerful way to build them.
Each morning, campers will learn skills in basketball, soccer, or cheer/dance — led by coaches and volunteers from The Way Church KC who are committed to serving our neighborhood with tangible care and the hope of the gospel.
This is part of our mission to push back darkness and be a faithful, incarnational presence in the Rosedale community.

Block Party for the Whole Family
Join us Tuesday night at 6:00 PM for a family celebration — kids showcase, bounce house, food truck, and community. Open to the whole neighborhood!
What We're Playing
Three Sports, Three Days of Fun
Campers will develop skills, build friendships, and have a blast across three energetic sports tracks.
Dribbling, shooting, passing, and teamwork — campers will sharpen their skills and compete in fun drills and games on the court.
From footwork and passing to small-sided games, our soccer track gives kids the chance to run, compete, and grow on the field.
Energy, creativity, and confidence — campers in cheer and dance will learn routines, build performance skills, and have a great time.

Camp runs the same hours each morning — drop off, play hard, and pick up by lunch.
Who Can Come
Every Kid in the Neighborhood is Welcome
Sports Camp is open to any child in Kindergarten through 5th grade. No experience necessary — we welcome every skill level. This camp is completely free, because we believe every kid in Rosedale deserves a great summer experience.
Our volunteers are members of The Way Church KC who are committed to serving this neighborhood — and we'd love to meet your family.

Is the camp really free?
Yes — completely free. No registration fee, no supply fee, no cost at all. This is part of our outreach ministry to the Rosedale community.
Do kids need to attend all three days?
We encourage campers to come all three days for the full experience, but you're welcome to come for one or two days as well. Just let us know when you register.
What should my child bring?
Comfortable athletic clothing, athletic shoes, a water bottle, and a great attitude. We'll take care of the rest!
Do kids choose one sport or rotate through all of them?
Each camper picks one sport — basketball, soccer, or cheer/dance — and sticks with that track for all three days. This gives kids the chance to really develop their skills and build friendships with their teammates.
Is this a church event? Do I have to be a member?
Anyone in the community is welcome — no church membership or background required. This camp is for every kid in the neighborhood. We're just glad you're here.

Camp wraps up with a celebration for the whole family — come watch your kids shine and stay for a night of food, fun, and community.
Watch your camper show off what they've learned across three days of basketball, soccer, and cheer/dance.
A chance for families to connect, meet their neighbors, and be part of what God is doing in Rosedale.
Kids can keep the fun going in the bounce house — because every block party needs one.
Grab a bite from a local food truck — good food, good people, good night.
